These two panels will focus on how infrastructure plays a pivotal role in zero-emission bus deployment as ZEB fleets are expanded. Careful planning on infrastructure scale up is key to control budget and serve as a blueprint for future deployment. Infrastructure scale up needs to provide both capacity and flexibility, enabling a transit operator to expand its fleet of ZEBs from a few buses to many hundreds. Standardization must also be considered as part of the expansion.
